Heather Hurlock

Heather Hurlock is the Founding Editor of Super Age.

A veteran health journalist shaping the intersection of science, culture, mindfulness, and lived experience. As Founding Editor of Super Age, she sets the editorial vision for a whole-human model of longevity grounded in fitness, nutrition, mindset, nervous system regulation, and relational intelligence. The former Editor-in-Chief of Mindful magazine, Heather co-created Awe Walks with Dacher Keltner of UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, bringing the science of awe into an accessible practice. Her work sits at the intersection of longevity research, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and metabolic health, translating complex findings into insight readers can actually use. At Super Age, she leads with a clear editorial mission: to create content that informs and inspires through compassionate motivation, not the fear-based messaging so common in wellness media. She believes media should empower people, not pressure them.

Heather is also a musician, a mindfulness teacher in training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and creative strategist devoted to personal and collective transformation.
